Today was our last day of the trip with the teens but still a great one. We went snorkelling over a ship wreck in Deep Bay and then sailed on over to Jolly Beach. We had a fun time doing our man over board drills and all took it in turns to take different roles. We then had swim time anchored at Jolly Beach and time to pack before heading into docks for showers and some cold drinks. We then had some amazing burgers made by Charli and Isaac before some ice cream on the bow. We even saw a manta ray behind the boat! We then had a birthday cake to celebrate Paisley’s birthday tomorrow. We wish our teens all the best on the travels home and have had an amazing time with them all!

Today started off our day with breakfast made by Charli and then we went snorkelling in Deep Bay along the ship wreck from 1904 which was great fun! We then sailed on over to Jolly Beach with Aubry as our skipper and even practiced a few man over board drills on the way. We attempted MOB’s a few times all in different roles and had a great laugh with it. We then had some packing and swim time at Jolly beach before it was then time to go into the Marina. Once we got to the Marina the teens all had time to have their first land shower in 12 days and then have a nice cold drink in the restaurant to celebrate the last afternoon. We then cleaned the whole boat and enjoyed smash burgers made by Isaac and Charli and then had ice cream on the bow. Deborah and Katie then made a birthday cake for Paisley’s birthday tomorrow so after writing letters each other and to our future selves we got to eat the yummy chocolate cake. It’s been a great trip it’s such a shame that the teens are all going home tomorrow. We have some leaving as early as 4am and are praying for a safe flight home for all of them.

Today we left Pigeon Beach and headed over to Green Island. Both Katie and Paisley shared the role of skipper because it was a fairly long sail and both girls did a great job. Once we anchored, we had lunch and free time to snorkel, see turtles, fish and even a baby reef shark as well as go paddleboarding. Isaac then made us a lovely meatball pasta for dinner which Charli then led the prayers for. We then had devotions and worship picked out by Aubry focusing on integrity. Today we set sail to Green island with Katie and Paisley helming for us. After our long sail we had relaxation time to hike, snorkel and paddleboard. We were lucky enough to see turtles and a baby shark today as well as a lot of fish. We rounded off our day with meatballs made specially by Isaac and and devotions focusing on integrity.

Today we experienced Sunday the Caribbean way by resting, relaxing and playing on the paddleboard this morning before then going off to afternoon church. We were asked by Pastor Billy to host kids church and for Allen to preach the sermon to the adults. Aubry, Charlotte, Luciano and Deborah ran kids church by playing games, singing songs and reading the bible whilst also giving out prizes. We focused on the fisherman’s coin in the Sea of Galilee to pay off his tax and got the kids to all make their own fish to do a race across the sea. We taught them the Galilee song and gave them coins with bible verses on which Paisley and Aubry brought with them on the trip. Allen preached a sermon to the adults during this time on shining your light and then with the help of the teens proceeded to pray for the church congregation. It was wonderful to break through to so many people in the church. We love coming back to New Life Antigua on our trips and are now building strong connections with the congregation. We then headed back to the boat for devotions and fajitas. I’m so thankful that the teens got to experience a traditional Caribbean church today with both an English and Spanish service.

Today we had a chill morning with some brunch made by Luciano and had time to enjoy the paddleboard. We then all headed off to church in the afternoon and helped to run kids church and the main service for adults. The church service was in both English and Spanish which made it even more interesting. Aubry, Charlotte, Luciano and Deborah ran kids church with games and songs and teachings whilst Allen preached the adults sermon. The teens helped to pray for the congregation. We then all headed back to the boat for fajitas and devotions.

Today we had wonderfully shaped pancakes made by Aubry and Paisley and we headed into town for market day for a morning of shopping for souveniers and gifts. We then sailed over to Pigeon Beach led by our skipper Paisley and headed onto the beach for games with the Antiguan youth. We then invited them onto our boat for a big bbq and it was great to mingle with the church youth group. We then did our evening devotions and reflections with the youth and teens combined before bed.

Today was a fun filled day. We started off the day by eating special shaped pancakes made for us by Aubry and Paisley. We then had a local market shopping morning to get presents for our families before then going back to the boat to move over to Pigeon Beach. Paisley was our skipper of the day and took us around to the next bay. We then all tendered on in onto the beach to then play games with the Antiguan youth group who we met last night. We then all headed to the boat and hosted the youth group for a bbq and mini party onboard. Both Allen and pastor Billy helped to cook the bbq. Our teens had the chance to mingle with the youth and chat with them on board which was lovely to see. We ended the night with a big group devotion and prayer session so that the church youth group could experience what our KingdomSail evening reflections are like.
