These are real world figures sent to us by the customer showing the same van, same trip, same kms travelled.

The customer was over the moon that he averaged 1.9lt per 100km travelled better than the standard tune. On top of that he has also gained 100nm of torque at the wheels and 23rwkw of power to help pull his 3 tonne van.

Another super clean Monaro we did a few months ago in for a full heath check then some power upgrades.

Starting off with the base dyno run we found straight away the Monaro was down in power as these 5.7lt make around the 200kw mark in stock form. After a quick check of the data log we found the throttle was only getting 75% and the throttle cable was not adjusted correctly. So we rectified this and was back to normal. Also on the dyno we noticed the fuel trims to be not in spec.

We removed the fuel injectors and found to be blocked. Most of the fuel injector baskets were full and after a quick tap upside down all the s**t came out. Even on a low 160,000km engine this can still happen, This is why it is so important to do a job properly to get the best results. A reconditioned set was fitted and the fuel rail was cleaned and fuel filter was replaced. Fuel pressure test was ok so we were good to go.

A VCM Performance OTR cold air intake was fitted.
Coupled up with a MANTA Performance full exhaust system 4into1 extractors and 3inch twin pipes produces a nice bark when the throttle opens
Finished off with a custom engine calibration to really awaken this beast.
Final result were a solid 237rwkw & 480nm of torque

Another 200 series with a popular package we do consisting of the following

Donaldson Airbox
MANTA Performance 3into4 inch DPF back exhaust
Plazmaman top mount intercooler

All finished off with a custom engine and transmission tune to suit the customers needs

If you own a 200 series this is a great all round package for touring, towing or just going bush.
The gains are excellent and make the vehicle drive like they should. More power and torque coupled with better economy you can’t go wrong.
