Let's talk about the biggest mistake you can make when speccing out an engine and gearbox package: leaving absolutely zero headroom.

When you build to your exact maximum target, you're running those components at 100% stress all the time.

That absolutely kills longevity.

You want to spec products that have extra capacity.

Running them below their max rating means when things get hot, or you hit a bad patch on the road, the hardware has the strength to soak it up.

Plus, let's be honest... you're probably gonna want more power in a year anyway.

Build the headroom in now so you aren't doing the whole job twice.

Making power is the easy part.

Seriously. Just throw enough boost and fuel at it and you'll get a number.

But building a setup that actually works together?

That’s where the dedication and experience comes in.

Power, drivability, and reliability don't come from just chasing one big dyno figure or slapping random shiny parts under the bonnet.

The whole package has to make sense.

From the intake to the auto, every small decision matters.

If the parts aren't complementing each other, you're just building a powerful car that drives like absolute garbage.

Let's build something you actually want to drive.

There is nothing worse than lifting the bonnet or getting under a dash and finding an absolute rat's nest of wiring.

A proper setup should actually work with the car, not fight against it.

We design our 8HP packages so everything communicates properly without needing a translator and a roll of electrical tape.

Clean integration means less gremlins and more time actually driving.

We pride ourselves on doing it right.

Here's the absolute truth about building gearboxes... stop building them to the bloody limit.

Our biggest pet peeve is when a someone buys a box rated for 1000Nm, and then tunes the engine to make exactly 1000Nm.

You are just begging for it to go bang.

The golden rule? Aim for 70 to 80 percent of the unit's max capacity.

If you leave yourself that 20-30% buffer, that's your headroom.

That's what keeps the box alive when you're loaded up, hot, and pushing up a steep track.

If you need the ultimate, try our 10r80 gearbox package. We have customers with over 1500nm using them.

Build for reliability, leave some headroom, and you won't be picking up pieces of your transmission off the dirt.

No laptop science projects.

No mystery wiring.

Just plug the bloody thing in and get on with it.

We built the CAN Hacker 2.0 because we were absolutely sick of seeing blokes stuck all weekend trying to make their auto behave with dodgy workarounds.

We put the time into designing a straightforward, plug-and-play install that actually works.

You get cleaner shifts, proper drivability, and a massive reduction in headaches.

It’s a proper product solution, not just some band-aid fix.

When someone asks “what’s the max?” and the gearbox starts sweating immediately 😅

Big number builds sound fun until they’re living on the edge every time you put your foot down.

The smarter move? Don’t tune everything to within an inch of its life.

Give your setup some breathing room, keep things reliable, and save the hero numbers for the pub chat.

Your gearbox will thank you!

One of our biggest pet peeves with engine conversions is when it feels like a science experiment instead of a vehicle.

You jump in, the dash is lit up like a Christmas tree, the gear indicator is dead, and you've gotta push some random button just to start the bloody thing.

That's not a proper conversion, mate. It’s an integration failure.

You lose that factory-built feel because the electronic components just aren't talking to the car's existing systems.

When you build a rig, it should actually feel like it belongs there.

You want the standard ignition to work, you want your dash clean.

We care about making sure these rigs work like factory.

Plan the electronics right, or you'll be driving a headache.

you can spend weeks trying to piece together a 10R80 conversion using whatever random wiring, dodgy controllers, and conflicting advice you dragged off a forum.

Or you can just do it right the first time.

Trying to save a few bucks upfront usually ends up costing you triple in absolute headaches when the rig refuses to shift on a Saturday afternoon out bush.

We’ve poured hours into figuring this out so you don't have to guess.

Getting the proper 10R80 package from the start means you actually get to enjoy driving the thing instead of constantly fixing it.
