Let's talk about the biggest mistake you can make when speccing out an engine and gearbox package: leaving absolutely zero headroom.
When you build to your exact maximum target, you're running those components at 100% stress all the time.
That absolutely kills longevity.
You want to spec products that have extra capacity.
Running them below their max rating means when things get hot, or you hit a bad patch on the road, the hardware has the strength to soak it up.
Plus, let's be honest... you're probably gonna want more power in a year anyway.
