THE MOON RETURNS TO THE COSMIC BEEHIVE! 🌙✨

03/11/2026

THE SUPER BEAVER MOON IS COMING! 🌕

03/11/2026

Closest Trio Alert! Moon, Venus & Spica Together!

Tonight the thinnest Moon of the month — only 3% lit — slides within 1.8 degrees of Venus, with Spica 1.8 degrees to the planet's right. That is the closest grouping of the three.

Low in the east-southeast, it will look like a diamond and two stars hugging the horizon. Wake up early, find a clear horizon.

Don't Miss Tonight — Fireballs Are Coming!

The Southern Taurids meteor shower peaks tonight, November 5, 2026. Expect only ∼5 meteors per hour, but one fireball can make your night.

This shower comes from Comet 2P/Encke and is active from Sept 10 to Nov 20. Best time to watch is after midnight, away from city lights. No telescope needed, just look up.

Have you ever seen a fireball?

Tonight a Tiny Moon Joins the Brightest Planet!

Before sunrise on Nov 4, Venus sits 2° south of Spica, joined by a lovely crescent Moon just over 20% lithigh above them in Leo.

Plus tonight the Southern Taurids peak on Nov 4-5. These are famous for fireballs — exceptionally bright meteors that light up the whole sky.

Look east before sunrise. Two events in one morning.

It's Happening Tonight! The Moon Hides a Bright Star!

Tonight the Moon passes just 0.8° south of Regulus at 4 A.M. EST. This is a rare lunar occultation — the Moon will actually hide Regulus behind its disk for observers in parts of South America including Bolivia, Chile, Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina.

Same morning, observers in southern India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Australia will see the Moon pass directly in front of Jupiter.

Look southeast before dawn with binoculars. Don't miss this double occultation night.

A COSMIC CLOSE ENCOUNTER IS COMING! 🌌
Watch Mars and Jupiter shine just 1.2° apart!

**TONIGHT THE MOON LINES UP WITH MARS AND JUPITER IN A RARE CELESTIAL PARADE!**

This is happening tonight - November 2, 2026.

Look east before sunrise and you will see something incredible. The 46% lit waning crescent Moon will slide right past Mars and Jupiter, forming an almost perfect straight line with Regulus, the brightest star in Leo.

The alignment is extremely tight. The Moon passes just 1.1° south of Mars at 9 A.M. EST, then 0.5° south of Jupiter at 6 P.M. EST. Together with Regulus, they will stretch across about 16° of sky - you can cover it with your outstretched hand.

No telescope needed. Mars will glow reddish, Jupiter will blaze as the brightest point, and Regulus will sparkle below them. If you have binoculars, look just above - the Beehive Cluster will be nearby.

Set your alarm for 4-5 AM, find a dark eastern horizon, and don't miss it. This kind of four-object line-up won't happen again for months.

Did you see it? Tag someone who needs to wake up early with you.
