Here's a recent repair we did during mid-winter of an AC evaporator on a BMW. This kind of job typically requires removal of the entire dashboard to access (you don't usually see this much of the inside of the car) Now this customer will be ready for when the hot weather finally hits with a proper functioning a/c system

Here's an update on the one of the shop's current projects: engine rebuild for a 1975 Jensen Healey. If you've been following along, we are in the process of bringing this classic British sports car back to life after 19 years sitting in the back of a barn. After finally getting it start and run once we diagnosed a bad fuel pump diaphragm and a leaking carb, we proceeded to establish what originally went wrong back when the car was put into storage; a burnt exhaust valve!

Now we knew what the issue was, we could start disassembly to figure out how much else was going to be needed to breathe life back into this little convertible.

A few of the pictures are of the failed fuel pump, disassembly of the engine and some of the spare parts the customer had found that we will try to use to make a complete, running motor with original matching numbers for the block.

So here's a project we are excited to be working on!

1975 Jensen Healey. This beauty has not been run in 19 years but had been put away into storage with some engine problems back in 2002. We are going to be tearing the engine down and rebuilding it hopefully with a matching numbers block. The owner is excited to get it back up and running, as are we.

Keep posted for updates as we dive into this restoration!

Here's a quick peak at the shop's project during the Christmas break. We closed just before 25th to be able to clean our floors and apply a 3 stage epoxy coating. This greatly brightens inside our shop as well as improves the working environment for our technicians!

Franco's will be closed for the Christmas holidays from December 23 and reopening Jan 4 2021. We will be checking phone and social media messages periodically throughout the break. If there is anything you require to have serviced or repaired before then, give us a call.
