📢 Service Update for Route 2 Residents!

We would like to inform residents that Route 2 collections, which began this week, are currently running behind schedule.

This delay is due to our collections team continuing to catch up following recent staff shortages, truck maintenance issues, and challenging weather conditions.

Our team is working diligently to restore collection schedules as quickly and safely as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through these ongoing impacts and remain committed to providing reliable service to our community.

☀️🎉 Weekend Recap!!

What a fantastic weekend at SummerFest in Ryley!

Claystone was proud to be a Gold Sponsor, helping bring some of the day's biggest attractions to life, including the face painting, petting zoo, bike parade, the wizzer ride, and the always-popular dunk tank!

Our staff at Claystone had just as much fun as everyone else, taking part in the pie throwing contest and even spending some time in the dunk tank to cool off while showing our support to the community. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces out enjoying the festivities despite the summer heat!

Through grants and sponsorships, Claystone steps in, helping keep Ryley connected, vibrant, and strong. Together, we're building a brighter future.

‼️ Collections Notice Update ‼️

We understand the inconvenience caused by the current collection delays and appreciate your continued patience. Our Collections team is currently addressing bins that were not tipped last week and are working hard to complete outstanding pickups.

Please know that the delays are due to the historical high water volumes, temporary staffing shortages related to bereavements, vacations, and sick time.

Residents who experience a missed bin collection are encouraged to complete the Missed Bin Collection Form available on our website.

ANNOUNCEMENT TIME!

We finished the review of all the applications received for the first intake period for our Community Grant Program and we are pleased to share a total of $29,000 to various community groups in Beaver County region.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who took the time and effort to apply. We recognize the valuable work being done by organizations across our communities, and we know that many worthwhile projects were submitted. While we were unable to fund every application this intake, we encourage unsuccessful applicants not to be discouraged. We welcome you to apply for the next intake period, as funding decisions are based on the specific applications and available funding in each round.

Giant Pumpkin Growing Contest Underway!

The excitement is growing right along with the pumpkins in our Giant Pumpkin Growing Contest!

It's been great to see community members embracing the challenge, caring for their plants, and sharing updates as their pumpkins continue to grow.

The contest is not only a fun and friendly competition but also a wonderful way to encourage gardening, community involvement, and learning about the growing process.

As the season progresses, we look forward to seeing just how large these pumpkins can get. Despite the weather we have received lately throughout the region, the pumpkins are looking very healthy!

Pumpkin plants were generously started and provided by Maple Park Farms, giving residents a strong start on their journey to grow a prize-winning giant pumpkin.

To help achieve the best results possible, we supplied compost to residents, providing nutrient-rich soil amendments to support healthy growth throughout the season.

We can't wait to crown our giant pumpkin champion at the end of the season!
