B.C. learner’s tests are now online. 🚗

New drivers in B.C. can now take the knowledge test for a Learner’s licence online instead of going to an ICBC office. The online test is available for Class 5 to 8 licences, including passenger vehicles and motorcycles.

It is the same test as the in-person version and can be taken on a computer with a camera and secure internet connection. After passing, drivers still need to visit an ICBC office for ID confirmation, a vision test, photo, and licence issuance.
