On holiday for a few weeks in India, so decided to email the designs of the new die cast aluminium inlet manifolds that we are working on to a 3D printing company in Delhi - so we can inspect and trial fit before production starts. Just need to get a Tuk Tuk now to the other side of Delhi to pick them up! 🇮🇳

Finally managing to get a few minutes to go back to these stalled projects. Fitting Girling brakes to the chassis for my next Ulster build and also on our RP restoration.

Orders have been a bit quiet recently and I’ve been a bit tired, so I decided to spend this morning leisurely trying to accurately plot the block stud hole locations for our new head projects. It seems it was common in the past, to oversize holes a little to make up for inaccuracies and of course the years of misuse, broken studs, helicoiling etc. Anyway I’ve been physically rechecking previous measurements on an unmolested block and will be super imposing this on a physical 3D scan that I’ve just carried out. Also trying a wooden laser cut template, to double check.
