Sometimes the problem isn't hidden inside the engine – it's right in front of it.

Years of dirt, dust, leaves and road debris had completely clogged this radiator, restricting airflow and reducing cooling performance.

🟢 Green – Information only.

🟡 Amber – A warning. Your car is usually safe to drive, but it should be checked as soon as possible.

🔴 Red – Stop as soon as it’s safe and assess the situation. Some red warnings (such as low oil pressure or engine overheating) mean you must not continue driving. If the engine warning light is flashing, stop immediately – this often indicates a severe misfire that can quickly cause serious engine or catalytic converter damage.

A clean intake system makes a big difference to your engine’s performance.

On this BMW 535D, we carried out a complete intake system cleaning:

✅ Removed and thoroughly cleaned the intake manifold, removing heavy carbon build-up.
✅ Cleaned the intake ports in the cylinder head.
✅ Removed the EGR valve and EGR cooler, then professionally cleaned both components to remove soot and carbon deposits.
✅ Reassembled everything, checked the system for leaks, and ensured everything was operating correctly.

Over time, carbon deposits can reduce performance, increase fuel consumption, and affect the way your engine runs. Regular maintenance helps keep your vehicle running smoothly and can prevent more expensive repairs in the future.

🚗 Please never leave children or pets alone in a parked car – not even for a few minutes.

The temperature inside a vehicle can rise dangerously fast, even when it doesn't feel extremely hot outside. A slightly open window is not enough to keep the inside safe.

👶 Children can overheat much faster than adults.

🐶 Pets are equally vulnerable and can suffer heatstroke within minutes.

Whether you're popping into a shop, collecting a parcel, or making a quick stop, please take them with you.
