Another McLaren 720S through the workshop at Roden Jones, this time for a comprehensive underbody refresh and corrosion protection treatment, with some fantastic results!

We’re seeing more and more McLarens through our doors, and alongside the underbody work, this 720S also received a service and an upgrade to the Thorney Motorsport suspension accumulators.

We’ve put together a short feature on our website showing the work involved, including plenty of before, during and after photographs. The transformation is quite something!

Ferrari 458 Spider | Giallo Triplo Strato

Now available at Roden Jones.

One of Ferrari’s most spectacular modern paint finishes, Giallo Triplo Strato was an exceptionally costly factory option, costing in the region of £20,000 when new.

This 2012 example has covered just 10,900 miles and has been in the same discerning collector’s ownership since 2016. Beautifully specified with carbon fibre exterior trims, Daytona seats, front suspension lift, dark forged wheels and Scuderia shields.

The 458 is increasingly recognised as one of Maranello’s finest modern creations, combining beautiful Pininfarina styling with that extraordinary naturally aspirated 4.5-litre V8.

Rare colour, excellent provenance and a car we know exceptionally well.

Now offered for sale at Roden Jones.

A 250 GT with the looks—and the pace—to turn heads.

Photographed at Hopetoun House, this Ferrari 250 GT ‘Drogo’ combines genuine Ferrari 250 GTE 2+2 chassis with striking Drogo-style aluminium coachwork and an extensive competition career.

Discovered partly assembled in Turin, Italy, in the late 1990s, with its competition body already in place, it was brought to the UK and completed by GTO Engineering. Years of racing and development followed, refining it into the car seen here today.

Its competition history includes the Nürburgring Oldtimer Grand Prix, Silverstone Classic, Grand Prix de l’Age d’Or, Grand Prix de Pau Historique, Imola Classic, Spa Classic and Dix Mille Tours at Paul Ricard.

Today, it runs a 3.8-litre Roelofs Engineering V12 and competition gearbox, with its original engine and gearbox included with the car. Supplied with FIA papers, it qualifies for many historic racing series.

Following extensive research into its history and development, Roden Jones are delighted to bring this remarkable Ferrari to market.

There was a time when luxury in a car wasn’t measured by the size of its screen.

It was measured in acres of leather hide, beautiful walnut veneer, thick carpets and the feeling you got when you closed the door.

The X100 Jaguar XKR comes from that era.

A proper British grand tourer, with a supercharged V8 up front, a long bonnet ahead of you and an interior designed to feel special rather than simply display technology. Ironically, it had plenty of that too — adaptive cruise control and satellite navigation were remarkably advanced in 2003 — but they were almost secondary to the materials, craftsmanship and sense of occasion.

Perhaps that is why this particular car appealed to us so much.

At 31,912 miles, with just one previous owner and having spent much of its life in dry storage, it has survived remarkably intact. The cream leather is still largely matt, the walnut remains beautiful and even underneath, the condition tells the same story.

It isn’t the sort of car we would normally go looking for.

But when they’re this good, sometimes the car finds you.

If Fiat ever made an Abarth Challenge Stradale, this is what we think it would look like!

Coming to Roden Jones and currently under prep is this incredible little beast — the Abarth 695 Biposto.

A rare, limited-production model, with only around 470 examples produced, the 695 Biposto is a lightened, track-focused version of the 695. It boasts a ton of carbon components, Bilstein suspension and a titanium Akrapovič exhaust. There’s no radio, no air conditioning and no rear seats — instead, you get a rear strut brace and full Sabelt racing harnesses.

This thing is properly cool and an absolute hoot to drive!

Low mileage and currently being given the full Roden Jones treatment before sale — just as we do with every car — it’ll leave with a fresh service and a Ferrari specialist stamp in the book to complement its history.

Some 430 Scuderias look good in the advert. This one gets better the closer you look.

An already exceptional example, recently treated to a detailed programme of recommissioning and preparation to take the presentation another step further.

One of the best around — and, in our view, the best-value 430 Scuderia currently on the market.

If you want to see just how good the mechanical presentation is on this one, take a look at the full advert via the link in our bio.

A few highlights from the Ferrari Owners’ Club Concours d’Elegance at Hopetoun House on Sunday, 30th August. 🇮🇹

Some truly incredible machinery on display, and it was great to catch up with so many familiar faces — as well as meet plenty of new ones.

A big thank you to all the owners who braved the weather and brought their cars along. Despite the rain, there was a fantastic turnout and a very special collection of Ferraris on display.
