Part worn tyres may seem like a cheaper option, but they often come with much less tread than new tyres. While new tyres typically have around 8mm, part worn tyres may have as little as 2mm. With the legal minimum at 1.6mm, that leaves very little margin for safety. Are you really saving money, or just increasing your risk?
