Another valuable CPD day for The 3D’s team today! 🚗📚

attended another excellent CPD course with Mick and Lee – Knowledgeablee Instructor.

The focus of the day was on the DVSA core competencies required of professional driving instructors, helping us reflect on and strengthen the standards we deliver every day.

🩷🚘 I'm super proud if Elin today for passing her Driving Test with ZERO faults which is extremely rare! We both have had an amazing journey, Elin was my pupil who allowed me to pass my Part 3 test to become a fully qualified Driving Instructor!!🩷🚘
Enjoy Driving Elin and make sure give me a wee wave when we pass each other 👋

🚘🩷 If you struggle with the Sheriffhall roundabout then I have the solution. Created and designed by Debbie. It's basically helping learners understand the lane to choose and safely exit onto the correct new road! Flash cards for each exit and back. 🚘🩷

Last week, myself and another instructor - Debbie at Stuart's Driving School were stopped at the Musselburgh test centre as part of a nationwide operation looking into the credentials of instructors providing paid for lessons.

Our credentials were checked and all was good 👍 The police and DVSA were great throughout — really professional and friendly.

It was also a good reminder of how important it is to have instructor badges clearly displayed in the windscreen at all times. It helps make these checks quick and straightforward and shows we’re doing things properly.

More than happy to cooperate and fully support anything that helps protect learners and keep standards high in our industry 🚗

👉The unique difference between Stuart's Driving School 🚘and others is that we swap cars and instructors to give our students the ability to experience a true reflection of a test by doing mock tests. This allows the students to understand their skills and what needs improving, building confidence and easing their nerves.
Dale at Stuart’s Driving School was looking after Elin and she successfully Passed and she now understands what to expect and what to work on. I was looking after Lucy, who is only weeks away from test and she feels so much better to have experienced the support and knowledge in order to pass as a safe driver for life! 🤩🩷🚘
