🚨 Roadside tyre replacement on a busy road 🛞

Called out to this tipper van after a blow out left the vehicle stranded on a busy road.

A replacement tyre was supplied and fitted at the roadside, getting the driver safely back on the move without the hassle of arranging recovery to a tyre depot.

For working vehicles, every bit of downtime matters, so being able to attend and complete the job where the vehicle is can make a big difference.

If you’re stuck with a flat or damaged tyre, give JH Mobile Tyre Fitting a message.

🚙 Quality replacement tyre supplied and fitted at home 🛞

One replacement tyre supplied and fitted to this Range Rover at the customer’s home.

The punctured tyre that was removed had the incorrect load and speed rating for the vehicle, so the replacement was supplied with the correct specification for the car.

The quality tyre supplied also came with noise-reducing foam built inside it, helping reduce road noise as an added feature of the tyre.

All fitted conveniently on the driveway without the customer needing to visit a tyre shop.

Budget, mid-range and premium tyre options are available depending on what you’re looking for.

It’s been a busy Bank Holiday weekend keeping plenty of customers moving! 🚗💨

Here’s one from a few weeks ago — called out to a customer who had suffered a cut in the sidewall of their tyre. Unfortunately, sidewall damage like this can’t be safely repaired, so the tyre needed replacing.

We got out to the vehicle roadside, replaced the damaged tyre and got the customer safely back on the road without the hassle of arranging recovery. 🛞🔧

If you’re stuck with a flat, damaged tyre or need a replacement fitted at home, work or roadside, give JH Mobile Tyre Fitting a message.

Just a quick notice to all customers — I’ll be on holiday from 24th–28th August, so I won’t be available during that week.

I’m still happy to take bookings for dates after the 28th, so feel free to message me in advance while I’m away and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Please note that there will be no emergency call-outs available during this time.

🛞 A tyre burst — and it prompted an important check!

A customer contacted me after one of his tyres burst due to excessive wear on the inside of the tread.

Thankfully, the incident prompted him to check the other tyre on the same axle, where we found it was also heavily worn on the inside and needed replacing.

The second tyre hadn’t burst, but it could have been heading in the same direction. ⚠️

This is a great reminder that uneven or excessive inner-edge wear can be difficult to spot without properly inspecting the tyre. Just because the outside looks okay doesn’t necessarily mean the tyre is safe.

If one tyre on an axle has suffered excessive wear, it’s always worth checking the other one too.

🔧 Regular tyre checks can help spot problems before they become a much bigger — and potentially dangerous — issue.

If you’re unsure about the condition of your tyres, give me a message and I’ll be happy to take a look.

⚠️ Another tyre safety issue found during a routine vehicle check today.

A customer asked us to inspect their tyres, and during the inspection we found a deep cut that had gone all the way down to the tyre’s reinforcing cords. The damage was hidden on the underside of the tyre and wasn’t something that would have been easily spotted without a thorough check.

Once the cords are exposed, the tyre’s structural integrity is compromised and it should be replaced to keep the vehicle safe on the road.

We supplied and fitted a replacement tyre and got the customer back on the road safely. ✅

Regular tyre inspections can help identify hidden damage before it becomes a serious problem. If you’d like your tyres checked, get in touch with JH Mobile Tyre Fitting.
