Neve, Avalon, Universal Audio, Phoenix and Focusrite. Valvetastic is equipped with a large collection of vintage and classic electric guitars and amplifiers. Valvetastic also hires a Yamaha/Electrovoice 3k PA system with Jolyon live sound engineering for small to mid size venues.To date, clients include The Stranglers, Miranda Sykes, The Fiction Aisle, Electric Soft Parade, Clowwns, Idiom, Wildwood Kin, Sound of the Sirens, Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin, Greg Hancock, Sadie Horler, Carnivala, Count to Fire, The Standing Waves,The Fireflies, The Akibas, Mani, Maz Totterdell, Hot Dub Bikini Party, Terrible Strangers, Kaya Street,The Black Thistles, Dan Schamroth and the British Wildflowers, Tobias Ben Jacob and Lukas Drinkwater, Zuri Aura, The Idlemen,

Featuring the studio Danelectro Electric 12 string today nestling in the valvetastic garden's crocosmia. This much used tool has a six way switch which allows the fattest Gibson wash, the skinniest spanking Ricky twang and everything in between. A go to for transitional arpeggios and subtle melodic motifs left right and centre. I love to play along with the track, clicking through the options until I find the perfectly mixed tonality.

Maintenance...expensive and irritating. I have always found it difficult to enter the 'zen of maintenance' but I do try to do some things myself and pay for professionals to do the more complex stuff.
