So the last couple of weeks the fishing has been sporadic to say the least. 70+ hounds one day, barely a dozen the next. The weather hasn't exactly been playing ball either. Although when it backs down and allows us, we can have a look for some of our more elusive species. Best day on the spurs so far this year is 14. No monsters but it's still early doors and a good sign we may see a better stamp in the next month.

First trip back in the saddle today, managed to find a few of these flat things, this one was the biggest of the day for Clayton tipping the scales at 15lb. We've still got a few spaces the next couple of weeks for those that fancy getting out.

Well that's us back in the water and ready for the season ahead. Our diary is pretty full weekend wise until October but we have some midweek availability before then. I've got a couple of spaces this Saturday and the whole boat available Sunday. Fishing is going to be a bit scratchy this time of year, but there should be a few roker about with plenty of smaller stuff to keep the rods nodding. Tight lines for the season ahead👍
