Can you think of another Golf variant that has shot up in price like a MK4 R32? The Mk5's are also following the trend, especially the blue 3 doors - the magic combination. The car above I spotted on eBay for £13k at 120kmiles, that's the cheapest there, they go up to £45k!

When I worked for VW the MK5 R32 was a real difficult seller, colour or spec didn't matter they were 1.5 ton 250bhp slugs, awful on fuel and with the little brother GTI offering the same 0-60 and huge savings it was a job to find a buyer for each r32 that came through our doors...

I remember distinctly though, how they drove. The noise they made was like no other hatchback at the time, the build quality, the weight and how they were planted on the road made them feel like you were driving something very special.

Add to that the big bumpers and wheels and you had a recipe for a car that has become the ultimate collectors Golf and I would bet prices will not stop rising on these for a long time yet... I have been looking for a project R32 for the channel for a while, the Mk4 is long gone for my price range but I do still keep seeing a Mk5 every now and then that could tempt me, would you like to see me snag one?

This is a tough one

Is that a rocket in your pocket?! Why yes! Yes it is. One brought Italian boost and a bad attitude. The other put Ford’s rally DNA into a pocket rocket. 😈

🇮🇹 Fiat Uno Turbo i.e.

Tiny, lightweight, and absolutely fearless. A 1.3L turbocharged engine pushing around 105 hp, weighing under 900 kg, gave the Uno the kind of boost punch that made bigger cars nervous.

🇬🇧 Ford Fiesta RS Turbo

The blue oval’s little street fighter. A 1.6L turbocharged CVH making around 133 hp, with Recaro seats, aggressive styling, and that unmistakable old-school turbo character.

The Uno Turbo feels like an espresso shot with a wastegate.

The Fiesta RS Turbo feels like a rally kid that grew up on back roads and boost.

Two 90s turbo terrors.

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

The 66-year-old presenter shared the news during the latest series of Clarkson’s Farm, explaining that the cancer was discovered during routine medical checks and that treatment began shortly afterwards.
