Happy Monday ☔️

Today’s first job was to investigate a misfire on this 2017 XC90

We done our usual diagnostic data logging but this came back inconclusive so we took the injectors out to inspect the inside of the cylinder!

Cylinder 1 has a lovely hole in the piston, new piston, rings, all associated bolts and gaskets ordered and the cylinder head is almost ready to come off.

If you ever have a feeling that something may be wrong with your vehicle then have it checked, this hole was caused by an over fuelling injector over several thousand miles. It’s unfortunate but may have been avoided.

Happy Thursday and it’s nearly the weekend! I think 😂

One job we’ve had in today and yesterday is quite a special car

2016 Audi TTs with every optional extra from the factory!

This was in for a full service and mot and to investigate an abs, tpms, traction control fault

We noticed whilst it was on the ramp that the rear discs and pads were almost metal to metal and the front pads were very low.

New discs, pads, rear bearing and sensor, full service, a huge 255/30/20 tyre and an mot 😁

Now for a serious but exciting post!

I mentioned the other day about us opening another company that links up to RenWorx, well I’m here to tell you all about it!

We are proud to announce the opening of RenWorx motorsport! This side of our business will focus more on track car builds, club sport builds and show car builds including

Suspension upgrades
Performance upgrades
Brake upgrades
Wheel and tyre upgrades
Roll cages
Seat and harness upgrades
Air suspension
Body styling
Sticker, vinyl and livery services
And much more.

We looked around when building the RenWorx track car and realised that there isn’t anyone local that focuses on all of these things but yet there seems to be so many people interested in modifying their vehicles.

RenWorx will still be focusing on all of normal everyday work and we will not be stopping any of this, RenWorx motorsport is a separate company that will be working separately.

Happy friday!

We have been so quiet on here recently due to insane workloads.

12 weeks straight of 7am starts and 8pm+ finishes but we do everything we can to make sure your vehicle is back to you as soon as possible! 😁

We have recently been seeing 40-50 cars a week come in and out of our doors which is absolutely incredible, and to think that just under 2 years ago I was a boy with a dream that could have gone 2 very different ways ❤️

I would like to thank each and every one of our customers for your continued trust in us, we are always extremely grateful.

Now some big news, the RenWorx racecar is currently at think wraps in Poole getting a full wrap ready to showcase the opening of our new extended company of RenWorx! More info to come soon 🤙

Happy Friday!

Sorry we have been so quiet but with the work load that we have we are currently working 12-14 hour days and have no time for socials 🙃😂

We have recently purchased the new autel diagnostic tool so we can now change and program TPMS sensors 🤙

Happy Wednesday!

What a scorcher it is today! ☀️

Today we have a bmw 3 series with the notorious N47 engine in for timing chains ⛓️

We also have a 2017 Ford ranger in for a timing chain ⛓️‍💥

And on top of that we are currently on our 6th and 7th AC of the day 🥶
