There’s a new name above the door in Truro for Laskowski & Co who've recently moved into this building as Commercial Property Consultants (incorporating Charterwood).
The first thing we needed to assess was creating an exterior sign scheme that worked with all the character of the building, and felt both smart and modern.
What we made:
— The fascia is super long, running the full width of the building. It's made from tricoya with a sprayed finish and profile cut letters. We love using tricoya for jobs like this. Somewhere as exposed to wind and rain as a Cornish high street needs a material that can take it, and tricoya holds its shape and finish far better than standard timber, without warping or cracking.
—The building still has its original windows with all those small panes, so we went with an etched effect vinyl rather than anything too bold, which lets light through into the office whilst still giving a bit more privacy from the street.
— A bespoke aluminium projecting sign finishes off the scheme.
Welcome to Truro, Laskowski & Co. 🏡 👋
