Bloomin' Hill Rallies! 😅
The mud shield was back to the metal, probably when we were in the trees at Woodheads stage, working with Gavin to recover a car and reset the stage.
More civilised happenings this weekend (hopefully), when we head down to the closed road Argyll Rally.

Bruce (almost) Almighty - back from a challenging hill rally.
Good points:
- excellent road manners
- superb on technical terrain
- floated through the bogs
- one tank of diesel did the event

Not so great:
- a wee plastic clip in the gearbox nearly stopped our event on Thursday
- the left suspension air bag was holed, probably due to me running them at too low pressure

More good:
- my suspension bodge survived for three days of off road stages 😀
- the cross country community coming to my rescue, with Billy and Alison bringing the gearbox part I needed from home. Thank you 😊

So far today- course cars.
000 (Spectator Safety) car got stuck in a bog on his first run through Carfraemill. A gentle tug back sorted that.
Then 00 car ran out of gearbox and or clutch near the end of the stage, so we towed him out after the stage had run.

A quiet hill rally so far...
Until we had to drive into the Amazon jungle that is the Woodheads stage to haul and bump start a car that had hit a tree. The tree fell down, so we had to cut a new stage through adjacent woodlands with the bow saw.
A frantic few minutes. 🥵

Hill Rally set up today and Mo is hogging the drivers seat. 😅
