Another successful Mercedes OM651 rebuild completed!
This 2015 Mercedes-Benz W212 arrived with a snapped timing chain. We removed the engine and carried out a full inspection to identify all underlying issues.
* Engine removed and fully inspected
* Intake manifold and EGR system professionally cleaned
* Cylinder head pressure tested, skimmed, and rebuilt with replacement valves where required
* Injectors tested – 3 out of 4 were found to be heat-damaged due to a completely blocked DPF
* New timing chain kit installed
* New high-pressure fuel pump sprocket fitted
* 4 brand new Delphi injectors installed and coded
To complete the job, we also carried out our AdBlue, EGR & DPF solution, followed by a Stage 1 remap, leaving the vehicle running smoothly with restored performance and reliability.
