⏩A quick in and repair for one of our regular customers.
One of three rear seatbelt buckles had fallen behind the seat.
It took me maybe 4 minutes to remove the rear bench seat, find the buckle and pull it up to its correct position. 💪🏻
So fast we didn't even charge anything for this fully FOC for the customer

Faulty alternator replaced 🔋 Battery charging and vehicle electrical systems resorted 💪🏻
A new alternator was supplied and fitted
🔸 Before repair the battery Voltage when running was 11.5V
🔸 After replacement we have healthy 14.6V

Our regular customers called us to investigate Fuel Leak from the left side 💦
With the wheel removed and Closer inspection found some unwelcoming wear 😔
🔸 Rubber hoses to purge canister completely perished and turned hard, splitting and coming off
🔸 Steel pipes from the tank have corroded at the top 😔
This unfortunately due to location isn't fixable without removing the tank.
🙏🏻 The customer has sourced a replace tank

☝🏻Don't ignore minor issues. They can turn into big issues fast ⚠️
Carbon level 1000 😬
Unfortunately this Citroen Dispatch - Diesel - had a leaking injector seal for about a year.

🔸 The level of carbon deposits is the worst I've seen in a very long time
🔸 We did our best to make the leak smaller and succeeded in reducing the leak
🔸 To get it back to original condition unfortunately it will require some spending as all components, pipes and wiring to the injectors will need to be replaced

We were called to investigate the burning smell when driving 💨 also some loud noise from the engine as well as Red Battery Symbol on dashboard 🪫

💻 Investigation was performed and we found Alternator not changing the battery

🔸We found the bearing on the alternator had failed, completely collapsed and damaged the internals of the alternator ❌

Customer promptly approved repairs and new Alternator was ordered.
We'll be back to carry out repairs soon 🔜
