KAMC Pre-NERM Ride & Charity Mission to Langhemphi, West Karbi Anglong — A Journey of Brotherhood, Adventure and Service!
The two-day Pre-NERM Ride and Charity Mission to Langhemphi, West Karbi Anglong, via Nartiang, Meghalaya, organised by the Karbi Anglong Motorcycle Club (KAMC), was successfully accomplished, leaving us with cherished memories of brotherhood, adventure, community service and heartfelt connections.
The successful ride was conducted under the dynamic leadership of Chief Sam Bey, with Vice-Chief Sanju Tokbi, Ride Planner Sarajit Timung, and Publicity Secretary Rangsina Teron playing instrumental roles in its ex*****on. We also extend our sincere appreciation to our hardcore members, Phukon Terang and Bilison Timung of Dongkamukam, West Karbi Anglong, whose initiative and determination led to the selection of Langhemphi as our charity destination.
The charity programme was graciously hosted by the Karbi Students Association (Inglongpho), Langhemphi Head Branch, under the able leadership of President Samsing Timung, General Secretary Nicholas Teron, Vice-President Harlongki Timung, Office Secretary Hepson Teron, IT Cell member Babu Teron, Social Worker Kelvinstar Engti, Lovely Bey, Secretary of Langkomwei, and other dedicated members and well-wishers.
Under the supervision and coordination of our Ride Planner, Sarajit Timung, the initiative brought together children, students and parents, whose enthusiastic participation made the charity mission truly meaningful and memorable. Their presence reminded us that the essence of motorcycling extends far beyond the open road—it is about building relationships, inspiring young minds and giving back to society.
A special note of gratitude goes to the Family of Phukon Terang for the wonderful Lunch at Dongkamukam and the Karbi Students Association (Inglongpho), Langhemphi Head Branch, for their exceptional hospitality, generous arrangements for our overnight stay and meals, and the warmth with which they welcomed every KAMC rider. Your kindness and support made us feel at home, and we shall always cherish this wonderful gesture of brotherhood.
Finally, our heartfelt thanks go to every KAMC member who participated in this Pre-NERM Ride despite the long distance, rough terrain and challenging road conditions. Your determination, discipline, team spirit and unwavering commitment made this mission a success. Every kilometre travelled was a testament to our unity and shared purpose.
As we prepare for the North East Riders Meet (NERM) 2026, this successful ride stands as a powerful reminder of what KAMC represents: Brotherhood, Adventure, Social Responsibility and the Spirit of Riding Together.
We ride not merely to explore new destinations, but to create meaningful connections and leave a positive impact wherever our journey takes us.
Long live KAMC!
