There is a point in every complex project where the available options run out. The material istoo new, the geometry too constrained, the operating conditions too specific.
At that point, the designer has two choices: adapt the project to what exists — with all the compromises that entails — or design the fastening system alongside the product.
That second approach is what we call co-engineering. And it is becoming less of an
exception and more of a necessity, as the materials used in contemporary manufacturing — carbon fibre composites, technical polymers, engineered stone, structural glass, advanced ceramics — continue to push beyond the boundaries of what standard catalogues were built to address.
Co-engineering is not a premium service. It is a structured technical process: application analysis, prototyping, validated testing, published data.
The designer does not receive a proposal.
They receive results they can specify with confidence.
