I remember a few years ago, Wizkid wrote a couple of songs for Drake and Drake released one of them which became a mega Hit called "One Dance". Drake and his team removed Wizkid's verse in the song and Wizkid was left with just some backup vocals. Later, Wizkid invited Drake on his song " Come Closer" but Drake didn't appear in the Video. After releasing the official Video, Drake requested a new video shoot where he will be a part but unfortunately, he still didn't show up. Drake never shared Come Closer or mentioned the Collabo anywhere around that time.
Fast forward to 2023, Drake is hustling to be on a feature with Tems whom Wizkid put on. One thing we should learn from the story is to keep grinding and never get dissapointed because someone or a system doesn't validate us. The Stars are watching and tables due turn around.
