As a small family owned business, we wanted to share a little behind the scenes of what happens before your car even arrives for its detail.
When someone contacts us needing an urgent booking, we'll almost always do everything we can to fit them in because we genuinely love helping people. But saying "yes" means a lot more than simply writing your name in the diary.
It means preparing all of our products and equipment, organising our entire day, arranging care for our three children between the two of us, and often setting aside time for our complimentary pick-up and drop off service to make things as easy as possible for our customers.
Unfortunately, when a booking is cancelled less than 12 hours before the scheduled appointment with nothing more than "Sorry, I have to cancel" that time can't simply be replaced. It's often too late to fill the booking, leaving hours of work we've set aside with no income to cover it.
We completely understand that life happens. Emergencies, illness, and unexpected situations are part of life, and we will always do our best to work with our customers when genuine circumstances arise.
Our 20% cancellation fee isn't there to punish anyone or make money from cancellations. It's simply there to help protect a small family business from the costs of last minute cancellations that leave us unable to fill the appointment.
We kindly ask that if you ever need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible. Your understanding and consideration genuinely mean the world to us and help keep our small family business going.
