How cool is this - Karting Manawatu has created a Minigp Academy NZ friendly day.

November 14th we be a typical Saturday for practice. MiniGP rider who would like to ride on this day will have access and join in the std rotation like karters do.

We will take open registrations in the next 24 hours. Bookings through our website.

We will work out groupings / classes depending on numbers and how many karters are there on the day.

Cost has been determined by karting manawatu at $60 for the day. Nil membership nil gate fee.

🏍️🏁 Mini GP Friendly Day – Saturday 14 November
We’re trialling a relaxed practice day with the Mini GP riders. Karters are very welcome, and Mini GP will run as its own class in the normal 10-minute sessions. Mini GP riders: it’s $60 for the day, and you book and sign in through Neil Chappell.

Well, well, well… where do we start!

A couple of months ago, we attended an interview for the YORB Manawatū Business Awards. Our goal was to gain some feedback, learn where we could improve and find ways to take our business to the next level.

Fast forward to last night, and what an incredible surprise!

With 14 nominees in the Entrepreneurial and Emerging Business Award category, we were absolutely blown away to place in the top three and walk away with a Highly Commended Award!

We are incredibly proud, grateful and humbled by this recognition. A little reminder that hard work, dedication and a willingness to keep learning really do pay off.

This award is not just for the people who attended the dinner last night. Chappy, Lauren Taylor and Joel were there to represent the incredible families who support MiniGP Academy NZ!

The upcoming series and future training days would not be happing without you all.❤️

Imagine if Minigp riders could attend this amazing school.

Well. It’s been confirmed. Cozy NZ has jumped onboard - and Minigp riders will be able to attend level 1 and 2 this year!

More details to come …… I mean how much better could the kids get……

Kiwibike Insurance and Cozy NZ MiniGP Series information is up!

MiniGP Academy NZ website will be the place to visit to find out all the information you need about the Series.

Entries this year will also be through the MiniGP Academy NZ website. We will announce when entries are open.

Items and information that are online are:
= Dates that are confirmed
= Classes being run
= Timing / Transponder hire
= Cost for entry per round
= Breakdown of the weekend and what is included in your entry aka what riding each entrant has access to.

Saturday Mornings will have MiniGP Academy NZ Formal training / race assessment & possible have a gos. Entry to these is not included in the Race entry fees.

Formal training can be entered separately.

Saturday Afternoon is the Entrants Track day - This is included in entry fee!
Sunday Raceday will have: Warm up, then a single Qualifying, then 4 races per class. We aim to finish slightly earlier each Sunday this year.

This structure allows more racers to travel on Saturday morning and only require one night away, then make their way home on Sunday.
