A customer down in Palmerston North got in touch wanting to improve the fitment of his FG2 XR6 while keeping the factory wheels.

After discussing a few options, we supplied a set of wheel spacers to help bring the wheels out and better fill the guards. It’s a simple modification that can make a huge difference to the overall stance and appearance of the car.

Customer supplied us Mag & Turbo lowering springs to install on his XR6 Turbo, he’s slowly making the looks match the 500kw it makes after we built it 😮‍💨

We’re spending the next week getting this ready for certification!

The lowering springs helped fix up the wheel gap while maintaining the plush ride plus the 265 semislick fits nicely under the rear guard which helps put the power down.

A couple years ago we made our first attempt at replicating the F150 equal length trombone that Ford themselves implemented into their trucks to give the V6 a better exhaust note but instead we used it for the V6 Ranger Raptor. Now we’ve got it pretty spot on and other than giving your Raptor an engine swap it may just be the best way to make it sound a little less mang and a little more tough!
