This is a cool project:
Nissan L28 cylinder head for a seal track car getting major re-work , set up on the Superflow SF600 flowbench to get a baseline (CFM, Swirl, Velocity). 👌Will baseline with & without intake bolted on.
Then out comes the welder, completely new design chambers as well correct valve, port ,throat sizing etc , been on the dyno previously so going to be interesting to see the performance gains once finished.💪🏁🏆
Will do some before/after pics & results once finished📷

Iron Eagle SBC heads:
- Reworked chambers
- New AFR guides
- New AFR 8mm Intake valves
- New Ferrea 8mm exhaust valves
- Burr finished
- 2.52 M.C.S.A
- 2.60 A.C.S.A

Really happy with the numbers on these heads & they sounds super stable on the SF600 Superflow flowbench.
Intake & exhaust velocities are on point, we're doing the complete engine build inhouse, de-stroked combination thats less than 1/2 cubic inch of the class rule limit.
Also CHD cam specs with custom shaft rockers with a determined ratio. 💪🏁

End of Speedway season so we made the decision to rock up to Eastern States Speedway for day 2 of their final meeting, the North vs South Modifieds. It was great to see live & support one of our customers running CHD engine/heads combination. Sheldon Arapere in the 9E was super quick even with the car a little unsettled, in amongst some of the best cars in the country Sheldon qualified on the 2nd row for the feature event bring it home in 3rd and securing his spot on the podium.🏆 (as well as 3rd on the podium for the Marlborough Championship on the Friday night 🏆)
Really impressed with the season results for the 9E Modified team, taking a few chequered flags 🏁 as well as getting on a few podiums is pretty impressive given this is Sheldon's first full season in a Modified! 🏆🏁

It was also good to see Kerry Walker in the 91n Stockcar take a heat win in his Mean Machine/CHD powered Ford stockcar.

We have a super busy off-season ahead with a number of Modified engine/head combos to get out for the next season (as well as other classes) & we really appreciate ALL our customers over the last race season & seeing their racing & successes. 💪🇳🇿🏁🏆.

Also some big exciting things coming over the off-season.... stay tuned 😉
