We’ve just reached 400 Google reviews, with a 5.0-star rating. Thank you.

To everyone who has bought from us, recommended us or taken the time to leave a review, it means more than you may think. I couldn’t be prouder or more grateful.

We always try to do our best for each customer. Sometimes that means going out of our way to help, and sometimes it means recommending another shop for a tyre size, brand or service we can’t provide. We all share the same roads, and we want everyone to get home safely.

We also want to share some credit with our local automotive community. From lending us tools to looking after customers we send for alignments, repairs and WOFs, these businesses help make the whole experience a good one.

Those reviews sit under our name, but we know the good experiences behind them often involve others too.

Thank you for supporting us and the local businesses we’re proud to work alongside, here in Te Puke and across the Bay.

This is just the beginning.

⚡ Scheduled Power Outage Today – Limited Services

There’s a scheduled power outage on Station Road today affecting our workshop.

Our phones and fitting machines are currently offline, so we’re unable to take calls or carry out fitting and balancing today.

We’re still selling tyres and dispatching orders as normal — same-day dispatch is unaffected.

If you need to get in touch, send us an email or message us through our website and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

We’re operating off mobile devices today so replies may take a little longer than usual, but we’re doing our best to stay on top of everything.

Thanks for your patience — normal service resumes once power is restored! 🙏

We’re proud to support Tyrewise NZ – New Zealand’s tyre stewardship programme.

Recently, the Tyrewise team visited our warehouse to film part of their latest video and even interviewed us about the work we do here at Tyre Dispatch. We’re stoked to be included in the final cut, and even more excited to be part of an initiative that’s making a real difference for sustainability in NZ.

👏 Big thanks to Tyrewise for the feature – it’s awesome to see our industry moving forward together.

Tyrewise a New Zealand organization, aims to address the issue of tyre waste by turning it into a resource within the circular economy. Currently, only 40% of the 6.5 million tyres used annually in New Zealand are recycled or repurposed, while the rest end up in stockpiles, dumps, or landfills. Tyrewise's goals include increasing the recycling and processing of end-of-life tyres to 80% by the fourth year of operation and 90% by the sixth year.

To fund their efforts, Tyrewise is replacing ad hoc disposal fees with a new tyre stewardship fee. This fee, set at $6.65 (excl. GST) for a standard passenger tyre, will be charged on all new tyres sold, both loose and on vehicles, starting from March 1, 2024. The fee may vary based on the type of tyre.

Starting March 1, 2024, disposal fees may still apply to old end-of-life tyres until September 1, 2024. After this date, there will be free disposal for end-of-life tyres if left with a registered seller/fitter during replacement, or up to five tyres at a time can be taken to registered public collection sites for no charge.

From September 1, 2024, Tyrewise will manage free collections of end-of-life tyres from retailers and collection sites. These tyres will be delivered to registered processors and manufacturers to be repurposed in the circular economy.

This initiative is in response to waste minimization regulations, which became effective on March 1, 2024. All tyre importers, sellers, transporters, and processors must begin the registration process with Tyrewise, with manufacturers having the option to receive incentives.
