Even if they’re incomplete, they’re still beautiful.

These lightweight carbon fiber Recaros flew all the way from Japan thanks to Isaac Pettit , just to pair up with Schroth harnesses and find their home in my project. Brand new covers have been on order for a few months now, but keep your fingers crossed — Recaro hasn't even fulfilled orders from last year yet... 🙊 🤞🏼

Time to tackle the cylinder head.
The plan includes welding shut the injector ports and doing a full porting job. We’ll be pressing in new valve seats and guides from the .tuning kit to fit +2mm oversized valves with thinner stems. While we’re at it, all studs are being replaced with new ones, including a few upgrades.

Any guesses who’s taking care of this? 🤔

Okkkkk to be honest, they’ll actually be doing two cylinder heads ;)

AI? Only in the background! The rest is pure love for carbon. The factory steering rack was modified to accept a carbon core and integrated with the passenger-side housing clamp. A Quaife short-ratio rack kit completes the setup. Weight reduction achieved: 321 grams.
