The truth is, I wasn’t very close with my Dad growing up-my Mom basically raised me as a single Mother. My dad and I had a rocky relationship, but the one thing we were able to do to spend time together, was work on my very first car. It was a 77 Firebird-I wish I would have kept that car! I was stupid and traded it for a 93s10 because I wanted to “fit in”.

I spent many late nights, early mornings and extra time after school working on that Firebird. My dad had his own body shop at the time, so I was able to use all of his tools and supplies. He was there to guide me thru and teach me. Although I never got to tell him before he died-it’s a time in my life I treasure. I hope that when my son is old enough to hold a spray gun, I’ll be able to pass down all the things I learned.

Since then, I’ve owned hundreds of different vintage hot rods, rat rods and muscle cars. I’ve purchased and sold so many over the years that I was forced to apply for a dealers license thru the state of PA. (Did you know, you’re only allowed to buy/sell up to 6 cars per year without one?). So, we built a shop in Blairsville, PA and now we get to help other car lovers find, fix and restore their dream cars.
