This 1968 Ford Mustang GT390 Fastback was discovered behind an abandoned Route 66 motel in Arizona, buried under desert dust and decades of sun damage.

Left exposed to the brutal desert climate for years, the once-iconic American muscle car had become a forgotten wreck. The hood was bent open, windows shattered, rust had eaten through the body panels, and the faded Highland Green paint was barely visible beneath layers of oxidation and dirt.

This full 1958 Plymouth Fury restoration follows the entire process from forgotten barn-find condition to metal repair, paint, engine rebuild, final assembly, first start, and road test.

Hidden for decades inside the storage area of an old small-town community hall in Minnesota, this Fury had been buried behind chairs, boxes, and forgotten equipment. Years of moisture, road salt, roof leaks, and freeze-thaw cycles left the body heavily corroded, the paint faded, the chrome oxidized, and the lower panels badly damaged.

Underneath the decay was still one of the most iconic Forward Look Plymouths of the 1950s.

In this restoration story, the forgotten early HLS30 240Z is discovered behind old parts and storage pallets inside a shuttered Japanese import repair warehouse near the New Jersey harbor. Years of roof leaks, humidity and salty coastal air have left the once-yellow sports car with severely oxidized paint, perforated rockers, corroded floors, damaged lower fenders and heavy underbody rust.

The restoration begins with recovery, transport, inspection, washing, complete disassembly, chemical paint stripping, sandblasting, and careful rust repair. Only genuinely damaged or perforated steel is replaced, while as much of the original body as possible is preserved.
