🏔️🚗 Ever wanted to take your car above the clouds? There’s a road for that.

Colorado’s Mount Blue Sky Scenic Byway climbs all the way to 14,130 feet above sea level, earning it the title of the highest paved road in North America.

Along the way, you’ll pass through forests, climb above the tree line, and eventually reach an elevation so high that you may literally find yourself looking down at the clouds.

Beautiful views? Absolutely. A little nerve-racking if you don’t love mountain roads? Also absolutely. 😅

Phones ringing. Cars coming in. Cars going out. Someone needs the keys you just had two seconds ago.

Busy days are pretty normal around here.

But the car on the lift still gets the same double-checks, the same attention, and the same “hang on, I want to look at that one more time.”

Because moving fast around the shop is one thing. Rushing the work is another.

Shorter days mean more of us are headed to work around sunrise and sunset, when the sun is low enough to create some pretty intense glare.

One easy way to help? Clean the inside of your windshield! That cloudy film you barely notice most of the time can become VERY noticeable when sunlight hits it just right.

There’s a reason we may take your car for a drive before we start looking for the problem.

We’re listening, feeling, and paying attention to when something doesn’t seem quite right. Does the noise show up when we brake? Does the vibration change with speed? Does it only happen when we turn?

Those little details can tell us a lot. The more we can learn from what the car is doing on the road, the better idea we have of where to start looking back at the shop.

🏎️ In 2025, Michigan Corvette owner Delino Barash was shopping when an older woman approached him. She had noticed his Corvette and asked: Would he be willing to take her 92-year-old husband for a ride?

Delino didn't hesitate. The car had belonged to his late brother, Donavan, and Delino said agreeing to the ride felt like exactly the kind of thing his brother would have done.

So, the two took a four-mile drive together. The 92-year-old passenger couldn't believe it was really happening and told Delino that the experience made his entire year.

Four miles. A few minutes. One very happy passenger. ❤️
