Ridgewood Cycle Association M/C How It All Started

In the early 60's, a handful of guys were sitting in the
Ridgewood Tap in Homewood, Illinois. What to call it? Ridgewood Cycle Association.

They were talking about starting a motorcycle club. Looking up at the sign, why not? That's how it all started over 60 years ago. After years of riding runs, putting on events
and teaching safety in high schools,
we were given the award of
Top Club in the USA in 1968. Now many years later,
being one of the biggest contributors
to the Manteno Veterans Home
and other Organizations,
Ridgewood is still going strong. Once again,

So the dust has settled, this years ride for the Manteno Veterans Home was a great success and we surpassed last years numbers in both attendance and money raised for the cause. But we could not have done this alone. It takes a community to come together remember those who put it on the line for Good Ole USA. So we can enjoy the freedom we all experience each and every day.

Thank you to VFW Post 1493 and their members. Billy Gray Music for donating their time and tunes. Traxx sport bar and grill, Copelands on 50 and Post Game Pub. Freddy Bear Sports. Our Awesome Food Catering folks.

Most of all Thank you to the motorcycle community for coming out and supporting.
American Lawmen M/C of Chicago, American Lawmen M/C of Illinois, Justified M/C, Iron Vengeance M/C, Canaryville M/C, Henchmen M/C, Legion riders and assorted independents and the Crippled Crew.

All coming together for a Single Cause.

The clock is ticking, come out Saturday and show your support for our Veterans,all proceeds go to the Manteno Veterans Home. Remember this is a rain or shine event. Clubs welcome, Cagers welcome. The last of the gun raffle tickets are going fast. Billy Gray Music will be there with the Full Band. This is a event you don't want to miss.
