This Lexus GX is brand new, and we still spent two days prepping it before the coating went on.

A hand wash, decontamination and a clay bar. A paint correction, not for scratches, but so the coating bonds and lasts the full six years. Panel prep so it sticks. Then our six-year Ceramic Coating on the paint, glass, wheels and plastic.

The Mercedes is in for maintenance. Matte wheels have been giving him trouble, so we're showing him what to clean them with.

Four cars in the shop today. All getting ceramic coated.

Lexus, just over 1,000 miles. Paint corrected first, coating on top.
Cybertruck in matte black PPF, with ceramic over the film.
GMC, under 2,000 miles. Just finished.
Black Grand Highlander, brought in right after delivery.

Same reason every time. Brand new, and the owners want them to stay that way.

The best time to protect paint is before the first salt hits it.

First-time buyer, two-day-old Rivian R2, and he did not want a single week of Minnesota on that paint unprotected. Three-year coating, done before the salt.

This truck came in already looking good. That’s the point.

The owner wanted to keep it that way. And on a truck this size, washing takes forever.

Decon wash to pull out what’s built up in the paint. One-step correction for gloss and a clean surface for the coating to bond to. Then a six-year ceramic coating.

Salt and road grime won’t stick this winter. It comes out in spring looking the way it went in.
