🚨 Colorado's driver education requirements are changing! 🚨
If you or your teen plans to get a Colorado driver's license, it's important to know which course is now required based on age.
Ages 15-17
✅ 30-Hour Driver Education Course required
✅ Behind-the-wheel instruction may also be required depending on age and licensing timeline
Ages 18-20
✅ New 4-Hour Driver Awareness Course (MDAP) required
✅ Professional behind-the-wheel instruction is optional, but highly encouraged to build confidence, improve safety, and better prepare for the road test.
At 911 Driving School Westminster, our instructors are active and retired Police Officers and Firefighters who bring real-world experience into every class and every lesson.
We're excited to begin offering the new Colorado Driver Awareness Program along with flexible driving packages to help every student choose the level of training that's right for them.
