This goes for everyone that follows and not just truck drivers. If it sounds funny, stop and look. Just check it out. Had a little clicking that turned out to be a little more and a little more. Climbed under just my basic F150 and found a bad tensioner and a belt that was ready to let loose. Only took 45 minutes to swap and have her up and rolling with no further issues. Not everyone is a mechanic or have a truck full of tools to make the repairs but when the truck really started making noise knowing I was 50+ miles from Cleveland and taking route 21 back up to 77 knowing there is only 1 lane for 10 miles with nowhere to pull off if the truck broke down, I had to do something. If I can do a tensioner and belt on a semi on the side of a busy highway then I can certainly do my own in an AutoZone parking lot. Be safe out there, and don't put yourself in a bad spot a few miles down the road.
