Was just reminded of this by a relative of mine.
Do you remember the Bose Magic Carpet Suspension from 2004? Bose spent 30 years and over 100 million dollars creating it. The video at the time and even more now (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KPYIaks1UY) was impressive.
Well, last year, Bose sold the technology to a company in Boston (ClearMotion) who has now licensed it to two manufacturers, one in China and the other one is...Porsche.
Will we finally see a commercial version? I'm looking forward to it!

What is your feeling on vehicles made in China? Based on comparable hourly rates paid, it will be very hard to any North American production facilities to compete with the final price offered to the customer. Should the US continue to block them or add substantial tariffs to keep the US auto market alive?
Look at their current production, over three times what is being produced in the US. are clouds are on the horizon?

Thinking of selling your car on an online auction website? Like Bring a Trailer, or Cars & Bids, or Hagerty Marketplace? Or any of the other websites fighting for that market?
The Daily Vroom just analyzed just over 49,000 auctions from Bring a Trailer and found some interesting things. As I always say, be very careful listing your car at no reserve. The positive side of no reserve is that your car will sell (as long as the top bidder doesn't flake after) but the same make, model and year can sell for as much as 32% LESS when listed no reserve.

Well, well, well...it turns out that BRABUS makes more than just gawdy body kits for the G-Wagon (just a joke folks...).
Take a look at this beautiful Brabus Bodo Cabriolet. Kind of looks like a mix of a modified Mercedes-AMG S-Class cabriolet and a Bentley Motors cabriolet.
I like it. What about you?

Power production, more will be needed for EVs and data centers. I'm all for clean air, as long as we are building things that are efficient. But even if the US stopped using coal for any energy creation, it would only drop global use by just over 5%. While that would be a nice start, China is the one to watch.
It's going to be tough, if not impossible, to get China to stop their use. Will they be going green? Probably not in our lifetimes (speaking for Baby Boomers here).
