🚨 VENDORS, PLEASE BE AWARE OF SCAMMERS! 🚨

Unfortunately, we’ve seen an increase in scammers targeting vendor events, and I hate seeing hardworking small business owners lose their money to someone pretending to be an event coordinator!

Before sending your booth fee to ANYONE, please take a few extra minutes to protect yourself!

Here are a few things to watch for:

✅ Verify the event coordinator. Check the event’s official page or website to confirm who is actually organizing the event. You can also call the event venue to verify there is an actual event and who has it reserved.

✅ Don’t trust random messages or comments. Scammers love commenting on event posts saying they have booth spaces available. Just because someone says they’re an organizer doesn’t mean they are!

✅ Double-check payment information. Never send money without confirming the payment account belongs to the actual event coordinator.

✅ Watch for red flags. Someone pressuring you to pay immediately, offering a deal that seems too good to be true, or asking you to message a completely different person should raise concerns.

✅ When in doubt, ASK! Contact the event organizer directly through their established business page or verified contact information before sending payment.

IMPORTANT FOR TREASURE MARKET VENDORS:

I, Maria Elena Stadick, am the ONLY contact person for Treasure Market events, including our upcoming Holiday Mart on December 12th in Eudora, Kansas.

If someone else contacts you claiming to collect booth fees or register vendors for Treasure Market, please do not send them money!

I love bringing vendors and shoppers together, and the last thing I want is for anyone to be taken advantage of.

Let’s look out for one another and help keep our vendor community safe! ❤️

A sincere update from Treasure Market

This is a hard post for me to make, but I owe our vendors and our community honesty.

After a lot of thought, I’ve made the decision to CANCEL this year’s FALL MARKET. 🍂

The truth is, I dropped the ball. I didn’t get vendor registration opened or the advertising started early enough, and that falls completely on me. Our vendors put their time, money, creativity, and trust into every event they sign up for, and I would never feel right asking you to commit to a market that I haven’t had enough time to properly promote and prepare for.

After years of putting these markets together, I know what it takes to create a successful event for both our vendors and our shoppers. Rather than throw something together just to say we did it, I would rather own my mistake, cancel this one, and put my energy into making the next one everything it should be.

To everyone who was looking forward to FALL MARKET, I am genuinely sorry. I appreciate your understanding more than you know.

But there is good news — HOLIDAY MART 🎄 is ABSOLUTELY happening on December 12th!

And you better believe I’ll be putting everything I have into making it a great one. Vendor registration and more details will be coming in the next few days!

THANK YOU for continuing to support Treasure Market, our small businesses, and all the incredible vendors who make these events what they are. I’m incredibly grateful for every single one of you.

Now let’s make HOLIDAY MART 🎄 one heck of a way to wrap up 2026.
