Automotive Technicians Wanted – Join Our Growing Team
We’re an up-and-coming, fast-paced automotive shop in Frederick, Maryland, and we’re expanding our team. If you’re a hardworking, team-oriented technician who takes pride in quality work and wants to grow with a shop that’s going places, we want to talk to you.
We’re Hiring For Two Roles:
1. Skilled Tire Technician (Full-Time)
You’re fast, precise, and efficient with tires. You can dismount, mount, and balance a full set of four tires (including TPMS) in under one hour without damaging sensors. You’re comfortable with high-volume tire work, alignments, and rotations, and you take pride in doing the job right the first time.
Ideal Candidate:
Experienced and confident with tire machines, balancers, and TPMS systems
Strong attention to detail and speed
Reliable, positive attitude, and team player
2. Entry-Level / Mid-Level Flat Rate Technician
You have solid basic mechanical skills and want to work in a busy shop where you’ll stay busy and keep learning. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants steady work and room to grow.
Ideal Candidates:
Comfortable performing brake jobs, suspension work, belts & hoses, alternators, AC compressors, and other common repairs
Basic diagnostic skills (no need for advanced or high-end electronics diagnosis)
Eager to pitch in, learn, teach, works cleanly, and takes direction well
Flat-rate experience is a plus but not required

Valid driver’s license and own tools

We offer competitive, transparent pay that rewards experience, productivity, and skill level. Exact starting pay will be determined during the interview based on your hands-on experience, quality of work, attitude, and technical acumen.
1. Flat Rate Technician (Entry Level / Mid-Level)
Pay Range: $32 – $36 per flat rate hour
Position Type: Full-time flat rate
Typical Weekly Hours: 40+ (plenty of work available)
Pay Tier Guidelines:
$32 – $33/hr: Solid experience with brakes, suspension, belts/hoses, alternators, AC compressors, etc. Good productivity and clean work.
$34 – $35/hr: Strong skills across multiple areas, consistent flat-rate efficiency, ability to handle higher volume.
$36/hr: Top-tier productivity, excellent quality, leadership potential, and versatility.
2. Entry-Level / Junior Technician (Hourly)
Pay Range: $22 – $27 per hour
Position Type: Full-time hourly (with opportunity to move to flat rate in the future.)
Pay Tier Guidelines:
$22 – $23/hr: Basic mechanical knowledge, limited shop experience, strong willingness to learn.
$24 – $25/hr: 1–2 years of relevant experience, can confidently perform common services.
$26 – $27/hr: 2+ years experience, very strong work ethic, quick learner, clean and efficient.
