🚗 RIDING WITH RESHWAW
ROAD READY™ 005
THE WEEKLY RENTAL PAYMENT IS NOT YOUR ONLY NUMBER.
Before renting a vehicle for gig work, calculate what it will actually cost you to operate each week.
Your weekly total may include:
• The rental payment
• Fuel or charging
• Tolls and parking
• Insurance costs not included in the rental
• Cleaning and other required expenses
• Money reserved for taxes
Then calculate:
Total weekly work expenses ÷ realistic driving days = your daily break-even target
For example, if your weekly expenses total $700 and you realistically plan to drive five days, you must bring in $140 per day just to cover those expenses.
That is your break-even number, not your profit.
Do not build your plan around your best possible week. Use realistic expenses, realistic driving days, and enough room for slower days or unexpected costs.
