The SAAB Club of North America’s purpose is to encourage the enjoyment of the SAAB automobile marque; including preservation, restoration, maintenance and education through events, tours, rallies, shows and meetings of the membership. d careful driving and interaction between other clubs and organizations, both with similar or diverse interests which will be of benefit to the membership. In January 2002, NINES contributing editor Phil Lacefield Jr. incorporated the Saab Club of North America, Inc. Former reporter and long-time Saab owner Seth D. Bengelsdorf took over the reigns of NINES in January 2004. Early 2021, the focus and format of the magazine was changed and it now sports a new name - "9s". The hope of the club is that with it's offerings of the national magazine and annual national Saab Owners' Convention, along with other programs such as the service directory, SAAB WIS Online, and the online store for purchase of logo items, Saab and the SCNA will continue to grow and strengthen.
