🚨FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS & POLICIES🚨
1. What is needed to rent a Slingshot? You need a valid drivers license, need to be age 21+, and need valid proof of insurance.
2. Do you have a website? Yes, there is a booking site where you will choose your rental time and pay the booking fee of $75. The booking fee is applied to the total of your rental.
3. Is the booking fee refundable? No, it is not refundable if you cancel unless the cancellation is WEATHER related.
4. Do you charge a security deposit? Yes, there is a $200 security deposit that is collected at the time of rental pick up and returned at the time of rental return. If there are damages assessed at the time of rental return. The $200 deposit will be docked if you are late returning your rental, the security deposit will be docked in the amount of the late fee accrued. If damages exceed the amount of security deposit held, insurance claims may be started and security deposit is forfeited.
5. What must I do if it starts raining during my rental? Pull over to a dry area until the rain stops. The rental should not be driven in the rain.
6. What forms of payment do you accept? We accept Apple Pay, cash, Zelle, and debit/credit.
7. Do you rent to everyone? No, Z&T reserves the right to deny rental to anyone that we feel may be irresponsible, intoxicated, or falsifying information. If your rental is canceled by us for any reason, you would be immediately refunded your booking fee.
8. What should I do in an accident or incident while renting? Immediately call Z&T.
9. Can I drive the rental out of town during my rental time? No, unless you specifically rented it to go out of town, got approval, and paid the additional fee. City rides are unlimited miles during your rental time.
10. Am I required to sign a waiver at the time of rental? Yes, every driver must sign a waiver, rental agreement, and acknowledgment of rules.
11. Do you allow overnight rentals? Yes, we do allow overnight rentals.
12. Are rates the same on holidays? No, holiday rentals are available at an increased rate.
13. Can I choose what color rental I want? You can make a suggestion of which you would prefer. It will be noted on your booking and we will try to accommodate that.
14. When do I pay the rental fee? At pick up, you will pay the rental fee minus the booking fee. You will also pay the security deposit at that time.
15. Do you have a program for regular renters? Yes, after every 3 rides, the 4th ride is discounted.
16. Where are you located? Rental pick up location is on the eastaide of Indianapolis .
17. Can I leave my car at the pick up location? You may leave your car, however we are not responsible for it. We suggest being dropped off to your rental appointment.
18. How much is the late fee if I return it late? It is $25 if you are 1 minute late. Then, $25 for each additional 15 minute increment. SO PLAN AHEAD. We do not waive late fees.
