Tremec price increase announcement. For the customers we've talked to contemplating a TKX conversion and anyone else, tremec in increasing their prices starting Jan 1. Now that's still 2 months away but here's the problem. We only have access to about 8 more units that are available. Tremec currently has them on backorder and i doubt they will have anymore before Jan 1st. So if you are wanting to do one, save a few hundred $ and do it now. This is a really trick set up that requires no structural modifications to our cars. We haveeverything to do the install with a few different options on how we set them up and unlike some other places, we retain the factory tremec bearing retainer and use a very high quality US made hyd throwout bearing instead of a Chinese one. We can also turn your first gen AMX/javelin automatic console into a factory looking 5spd console like shown in one of our previous build.

If you want to cruise your amc for longer distances or hwy speed and feel a lot more comfortable and safer on the engine doing so, this is the way to go. In 5th gear, the 69 amx we did going from the auto to tkx, at 75 we went from 3600rpm down to 2100rpm.

Psa. Anyways check your drain holes in your jeeps and other vehicles. This is a customers 2027 Rubicon x we were adding some side steps and other add ons to. 4 of the drain holes along the rocker pinch welds were completely blocked and a few others partially. They spray this dumb expandable foam insulation crud like used in holes in there for noise and vibration reduction but what it really does is block the inner panels ability to drain water like it's suppose to. It stays wet for days and days allows dirt and salt in the winter to get trapped in there and eventing why you see the rockers rust out completely. We go up in there and break up as much of it and we can and then blow it out so that the water can drain like it's meant to. This video just shows a tiny bit of how bad it is. Well people have been asking for it and here it is. The Easy Street efi by edelbrock in black This new black version isn't even on their website yet. We got a couple of the first ones.. some of key features. First all of the wiring is made from high grade TXL sheathed wires and the entire harness is made in the US. Next the ecu is completely separate from the throttle body and can be mounted anywhere to pretect it from being too close to the distributor protecting it from rf noise. Then there is their patented fuel sleaves that directs airflow off the wall creating a better fuel atomization , crisper throttle response and better fuel economy. It utilizes a genuine Bosch o2 sensor and a gm temp sensor. The throttle body looks more like a carburetor or a terminator efi at $1299 price point . Like the sniper 2 it can handle up to 650hp. The set up is easy and uses an app you can download to your laptop, cell phone or tablet. The ignition controlled 3679 distributor is $317 and can control/ change timing from the app.

One of these we are going to put on one of our cars as we do with just about every part we sell. We have another one available if someone is interested in switching to injection. Bolts on any 4150 intake fl**ge. Give us a call.

Hyd roller lifter have been in short supply for a while at least a year now so we weren't letting any go without a cam order along with it. With this latest run, I took all that were available so our customers don't have to resort to lower quality alternatives to finish their engine. We have 15 sets left after filling back orders. For the time being, until we see if they get back to normal supply, we are going to stick with that rule.

Our 1985 11k original mile AMC Eagle untouched survivor. The ride and fuel mileage of these things always amazes me. It rides so nice and smooth. We put a little over 100 miles on it this weekend and it barely used 1/4 tank of gas. Not bad for 1980s technology, with a 4.2L carbureted engine, 4 wheel drive 3500lb sedan.

AMC races notification. As some of you already know, our son Daniel, who has always been a huge AMC fan, has been struggling this year with health issue and has been in the hospital all summer. This has taken up a lot of our attention. He was released from the hospital yesterday but has lost a lot of weight and has a long road to getting his strength back. That being said, we unfortunately will not be set up at the AMC races this weekend at great lakes dragway in union Grove like we normally are. We will hopefully be in attendance and will be a sponsor for the event but we will not have our booth set up. The good though is we are only 10 minutes from the host hotel so if there are any items you need, we are close by. Thanks for understanding and we hope the event turns out well.
