Whelp… the trip to Cherokee Speedway didn’t go to plan!
The #77 qualified 8th for the A-main on Saturday night. Rain pushed the race to Sunday, which worked out well to get our smaller fan base out to watch a race.
We were running right at the top 5 in hot laps, but the rubbered in dry slick caught us off guard. We’ve struggled to make the right adjustments, mostly driver, for dry slick all year and Sunday was no different.
Started 8th and finished last on the lead lap, after a late race tire change. Luckily we learned something and hope to perform better in the dry slick next go around.
