Antron Brown and DRIVEN Studios have announced a four-part biopic series about the four-time NHRA Top Fuel world champion. “AB - 3.7 Seconds. 30 Years” will explore the life and career behind one of drag racing’s most accomplished drivers.

The series follows Brown’s path through racing, family, and the experiences that shaped him—offering a closer look at the life behind those few seconds on track.

“People see the few seconds on the track, but there’s a whole life behind that moment,” Brown said. “I’m excited to share more of that journey, the hard work, the team, all the years of work it took to get me here, and give people a closer look at what racing and this life has meant to me. “I’ve worked with DRIVEN before, and I’m excited to team up with them again on this project. We’ve got some exciting things in the works for 2027, so not only am I glad they’re going to show what it took me to get where I am, I’m fired u
p they’re starting with us when they are.”

“Having the opportunity to tell the full story of a legend like Antron Brown is a true honor for the entire DRIVEN team,” said Tom Lofthouse, Chief Content Officer at DRIVEN. “Antron has such a big personality at the race track, but there is so much more that makes him such an intense competitor and yet a special person to everyone around him and it will be a privilege for us to tell that story for everyone to enjoy on DRIVEN.”

Brown will also appear in DRIVEN’s original documentary series “Go or Go Home,” debuting in February 2027. “AB - 3.7 Seconds. 30 Years” is scheduled to premiere during the 2027 season.

VEGAS BELONGS TO VANDERGRIFF!

Jordan Vandergriff made every round count at the Las Vegas Nationals, capping a huge Sunday with a final-round win over Ron Capps!

Round by round:
🏁 Def. Julie Nataas — 3.876 sec. at 324.28 mph
🏁 Def. Spencer Hyde — 3.912 sec. at 324.20 mph
🏁 Def. J.R. Todd — 3.911 sec. at 327.90 mph
🏆 Def. Ron Capps in the final — 3.873 sec. at 331.36 mph

That fourth win of the season puts Vandergriff just 39 points behind Matt Hagan heading to the season finale in Pomona. The title will be decided in the final race—let’s go!

BECKMAN BRINGS THE SPEED IN VEGAS!

Jack Beckman charged to the provisional Funny Car No. 1 spot Friday night with a blistering 3.836-second pass at 335.32 mph — the second-quickest run of the entire 2026 season in the class!

The battle for the top spot continues today with Q3 and Q4. Can Beckman keep the momentum rolling and lock in No. 1?

Matt Smith delivered when it mattered most at the Texas FallNationals, taking down points leader Richard Gadson in a thrilling Pro Stock Motorcycle final. Smith’s razor-sharp .006 reaction time helped him overcome Gadson’s quicker pass and grab his fourth win of the season—and 46th of his career!

Smith’s road to victory:
🏍️ Round 1: Def. Malcolm Phillips Jr. — 6.693 at 201.78 mph
🏍️ Quarterfinal: Def. Chase Van Sant — 6.715 at 201.22 mph
🏍️ Semifinal: Def. Ryan Oehler — 6.718 at 200.70 mph
🏆 Final: Def. Richard Gadson — 6.660 at 203.08 mph

Gadson ran 6.654 at 203.79 mph, but Smith’s .006 light beat Gadson’s .033 to the finish!
The win keeps Smith’s championship hopes alive. He moves into third in the standings, 85 points behind Gadson with two races left. The climb is steep, but the title fight is still on!
