Me, my thoughts, and my truck. 🛻🔧
Ever wonder how much thought goes into building the perfect interior for a classic truck? Because apparently, I have a LOT of thoughts! 😂
When it comes to my 1972 Chevy C10 build, I don’t just want an interior that looks good. I want one that feels right for ME!
I know how I drive, where I like to rest my arm, how I position my legs, and what feels comfortable behind the wheel.
So this morning, armed with paint tins, a knee pad, and a whole lot of imagination, I started figuring out my ideal seat height and driving position. 😆
Shane at Shane Lile will have me involved when we get to the official interior mockup, but until then, I’m having fun working out where I’ll sit, how my gauges should be positioned, and what makes sense for my driving style.
Am I doing everything the right way? Probably not! 😂 But it makes perfect sense in my head, and that’s half the fun of building your own truck!
Now I’m curious, fellow builders — when designing your interior, do you start with comfort, looks, or just figure it out as you go? 👇
