BIGFOOT 4
Pretty fun and quick build. These Bullnose trucks are always a favorite to make.
This build has a custom built straight frame, 3D printed cab and front end, the bed is off the Greenlight Bricknose trucks. I modified the roll bar with rectangular lights and the handle, decals are printed by me along with the 3D printed tires.
Wasn’t sure if i was going to build more trucks in time for the Bash but guess i managed to get another one finished.

These little displays are fun to make. Brings more life into the trucks!

Decided to do a post on my Bigfoot 4.

I originally built my first version in early 2020, using a Kings of Crunch chassis that i modified to make hybrid suspension, i also added a
Hot Wheels Monster Truck roll cage on the chassis then cut bits of plastic to make the frame a straight frame just like on the real truck. Ended up using the Maisto Bigfoot since that’s all i had at the time, but it made my truck look like the later version of the real deal.

As my skills got better i fixed the chassis and got brave enough to cut the body and added the iconic exhaust. It stayed like this for a while until i decided to redo the chassis completely with the Kings of Crunch Bigfoot 5 chassis being the main base. I did end up building it the same way as before but with polystyrene strips, a bigger improvement from before.

I ended up changing the body to the aeronose with the racer stripes, it wasn’t the bricknose but i worked with what i had at the time. I also messed with some gray rims for a different look and it was like this for a while until Greenlight released the bricknose. Once i got my hands on a few i decided to cut the bed out and build a full roll cage from scratch using polystyrene rod and added smaller details accurate to the real truck, at the time i think this was the first fully accurate Bigfoot 4. Now there’s resin chassis you can purchase.

But this is pretty much how the truck sits today, its gone through a lot of changes and rebuilding over the years but it reflects my building skills as time went on and is one of my favorites in the collection.

Pretty neat that my little hobby turned into something that has a good amount of people interested in the work i put out. I still have tons of ideas for trucks and builds so we aren’t going anywhere! But thanks for everyone who’s given feedback and tips + advice along the way. I appreciate you all
