This very clean 1993 NAS Defender 110 recently left the shop and was delivered to its new family in FL. The owners were nice enough to send us a note after the 110 arrived, "ECR, I wanted to say thank you for getting the 110 into tip top shape. We were very pleased when we came across what looked to be a great example of an original 110, but you have brought it to the next level. It’s a joy to drive and living in a climate where AC is paramount you were able to get it to blow cold air which is awesome. A gentleman once told me when I called (a dealer) to inquire about a 110, that he would never put his wife in one because of the air conditioning issue. Clearly, he had never experienced the new in and improved ECR air conditioning.
The suspension set up really makes for a comfortable ride. And the new stereo is fantastic all the modern conveniences with the old school look.
Driving (my) ‘97 90 much of my life I was used to the occasional thumbs up or wave, but I have to say the 110 gets a lot of fun attention!! Lots of looks, thumbs ups, and waves. Red lights and filling up for gas is a whole new experience as people come up and want to know about the truck.
