Living on the south shore of Long Island, Captain Joe grew up on the Laura Lee Fleet fishing the Great South Bay and surrounding Ocean waters. The Laura Lee Fleet has been fishing the waters of Great South Bay and Fire Island since 1974. The Laura Lee Fleet started with the Lady Ann and Casey Lee, then the Laura Lee and then adding the new fast Laura Lee Express. Both boats are Coast Guard Inspect

ed and approved with the latest safety, navigation and fish finding equipment. Although both boats have individual rod holders for 94 fisherman; we limit the trips depending on the type of fishing to between 18 and 49 fishermen.

The Captree Princess returned from its 2nd Tilefish trip of the season last night with a FULL BOAT LIMIT OF GOLDEN TILEFISH TO 33LBS, 20 BLUELINE TILEFISH, and 2 Rosefish. We have trips scheduled every Tuesday night, don’t miss out. There are a few spots left on the next trip. We have everything you need included in the price of $399: hooks, lead, teasers, squid, bluefish strips, shark strips, fluke strips, & a newly renovated bunk room on our 85’ Aluminum Yacht the Captree Princess. With daily highs now In the low 70’s the water is warming hopefully pushes another body of fish into the bay. The algae issue is starting to die off which should also improve the Fluke bite.
